I worked as a Homeroom teacher for Primary 2 students, in the Integrated Maths, Science and English Program at Saint Louis School.

  2. Substitute Teacher in Bethlehem, South Africa - From 08/02/2020 to 11/30/2020 - Details: Bethlehem is a small town in central South Africa. I taught Capentry and Arts and Culture for High School students as a Substitute Teacher at Maluti Hoogland School, which is a school for students with special needs.

ABOUT ME:

🎙️ Self-Introduction:

My name is Johanna Jordaan (teacher Lani) and I am from the Free State province of South Africa. I am very passionate about the English Language and enjoy teaching it to others. I have a Bachelors degree in Communication Studies, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) as well a Bachelor of Honours degree in Education Learner Support.

After I completed my 120 - hour TEFL course, I worked as a Homeroom teacher in Chachoengsao, Thailand for two years. In 2020-2021, I worked as a Substitute teacher in South Africa, teaching different subjects to various age groups, while I was busy completing my Child Counselling, Play Therapy and Drawings course (level 1).


Teaching Style:

  • I am a friendly, enthusiastic and supportive teacher and teach students by using various resources, dancing, singing and playing games, to ensure that lessons are presented in an INTERACTIVE and FUN way.
