Hello! My name is Janet. Let me tell you a bit about myself. I am a qualified Daycare teacher with a teaching diploma and a 120 hour TEFL certificate. I have numerous experience in teaching children. I have worked with various age groups from 4 months old to 15 years of age. I have worked in schools in Cape Town teaching ages 2 - 6 years of age as well as working overseas. I worked for Carnival cruise lines as a Youth counselor. As a youth counselor I worked with the kids onboard the ship running activities as well teaching the kids about a certain topic. I have also volunteered teaching English at a school in Nepal as well as teaching a group of teenagers English at the American language center.
💬 Teaching Style:
My method of teaching is to use props or materials during my lesson. I like to use props as it makes the lesson fun as well as enjoyable for the students. It’s also makes the lesson interactive. I have a passion and love for teaching!
