🎙️ Self-Introduction:
My name is Clarisse and I am 39 years old. I'm an online ESL teacher with more than 5 years of experience. My teaching journey started in 2014 when I relocated to Thailand. After a month of in-depth training, I completed my TEFL qualification. I was placed in different schools to gain as much as possible experience. I taught big groups of classes, between 35 to 40 students, and smaller kindergarten classes.
In 2018, I was given the opportunity to start my online teaching career. I have never looked back since. I currently teach students from the ages of 3 years to teenager level. I give one-on-one classes and also group classes up to 6 students.
Throughout my teaching journey, I have developed a teaching approach that combines communicative language teaching and student-centered methodologies. I firmly believe in creating an interactive and engaging learning environment where students can actively participate and apply their language skills.
My teaching philosophy is empowering students to become confident and effective communicators in English. I believe in fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom culture where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and taking risks in their learning.
Ultimately, my goal is to inspire a lifelong love for learning English and equip my students with the necessary tools and skills to succeed in their personal, academic, and professional endeavours.
